The Jaguar F-Type

The new Jaguar F-Type is one of the latest sports car models from Jaguar Cars Limited made of pure aluminium. Just like the F-Type S and F-Type V8 S models, the new Jaguar F-Type runs on a supercharged engine, making it one of the fastest sports cars today. The agile two-seater convertible sports car is basically designed to meet the needs of all motor racing fanatics.

The Engine
The new Jaguar F-Type runs on a 3.0-litre supercharged V6 engine. This strong and quiet engine has the ability to produce 340 horsepower, allowing the car to run on a silent mode even at a high speed. The car weighs about 3550 pounds and measures about 176 inches in length. It is fitted with an automatic 8-speed gearbox for minimum fuel consumption and high speed performance. The engine burns less fuel at a time, releasing very small amounts of CO2 to the air, which makes it environmentally-friendly. The superb engine basically makes the car one of the most valuable assets that you can ever have.

Front and Rear
The front has 2 vertical bi-xenon LED headlights, double-blade bumper. The power bulge bonnet accommodates the large supercharged engine for high performance. The rear comprises of 2 narrow tail-lights and an automatic pop-up spoiler that does not interfere with the car’s pretty lines. The spoiler pops up at about 59 mph while indicating the Jaguar’s logo that is imprinted on it.

The Roof
Jaguar F-Type’s convertible roof is designed with a conventional fabric construction. It can lower or raise itself within 10 seconds at an amazing speed of up to 29 mph. One of the main advantages of F-Type’s roof is that it is lighter as compared to the roofs of other ordinary vehicles. The roof is designed in such a way that you can stash it beneath the rear deck when it is not in use, especially on a sunny day.

Interior
The new Jaguar F-Type is designed with a driver-focused interior yet to be seen in other types of sports cars. Once you step inside the driver’s cabin, you develop the feeling of being inside a cockpit. The cabin has a prominent grab-handle that separates the passenger’s side from the driver’s side along the centre-console. The seats are not only adjustable, but are also bolstered and snug, offering the driver extra comfort.

All the controls are easy to access and simple to operate, allowing the driver to stay focused while driving. Both the driver and passenger sides are fitted with very sensitive airbag control units for maximum protection in case of an accident. One of most striking features inside the car is the centre air vent panel that only functions when activated by the HVAC system. The system keeps the air vent away from driver’s view when they are not in use, allowing for good concentration and visibility. The flat-bottom steering wheel has a highlighted tachometre, a G-metre function, a Performance Pack, and a trick lap timer.
