The DT website is carrying the story of a young woman being attacked and sexually assaulted whilst walking in Holmebrooke Valley Park last Sunday.

Apparently the victim fought off the attacker who was described as being ” 6ft tall, aged 20, of muscular-build, with black shaven hair, a goatee beard, a scar on his chin, blackened teeth, a local accent and was wearing a black  tracksuit.”

Police are warning women to take precautions including carrying rape alarms.
